GSSI GPR Equipment

SCANTEC uses a wide range of GSSI’s GPR antennas for our services. GSSI is one of the the world’s leading manufacturers of ground penetrating radar (GPR) equipment. The information below can also be found at the manufacturer’s website.

SIR 4000 and 2000 MHz Palm antenna

2000 MHz Palm

2000 MHz Palm antenna used to scan ceiling and congested areas

The StructureScan™ Mini XT is a all-in-one tool designed with an integrated display for single operator data collection and interpretation. The Mini XT is ideal for concrete inspection and evaluation. Easily and accurately locate the position and depth of metallic and non-metallic objects in concrete structures, including rebar, conduit, post-tension cables, pan decking, voids and service utilities.

The 2 GHz air-launched (horn) antenna is a high-resolution GPR antenna used for pavement thickness and road condition assessment. When coupled with the SIR 30 control unit, it can collect data at highway speeds.

GSSI 2 GHz Airhorn used to collect asphalt thickness on roads at high way speeds.

The StructureScan™ Mini is GSSI’s all-in-one GPR system for concrete inspection. This handheld system locates rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, voids and can be used to determine concrete slab thickness in real-time.

PX 10 Transpointer

Precisely detect the exact entry or exit point before drilling a hole at any angle on a wall, floor or ceiling. Easily determine the drill bit length. This equipment is included for every SCANTEC’s concrete scanning work for suspended slabs. It is critical to accurately transfer the coring location to the bottom of the slab to make sure there is no obstructions before cutting such as duct banks, pipes or other facilities attached to the other side of the slab.
