UTILITY LOCATING

SCANTEC uses Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) in combination with traditional EM pipe locating methods at every site to make sure providing customers a comprehensive survey of underground utilities. We can locate water, gas, electrical, communication, sewer, and other objects including PVC pipes or fiber optic cables prior to digging or excavating.

GPR can also be used to identify and map out other buried objects such as underground storage tanks (USTs), unmarked graves, and soil boring clearance etc. With multiple antennas available for every job, we are able to clear utility for different scopes of your project from shallow slab coring, trenching to deep soil boring.

For conductive lines locates, SCATEC utilizes well-known Radiodetection’s precision cable locator range with fully-featured as well as multifunction RD8000 and Tx10 transmitter.  Learn More >

CONCRETE SCANNING

We use multiple GPR antennas to cover different depth ranges, either to map conduits, post-tensioned cables embedded within the slab or to locate utility pipes underground below the concrete. We make sure all of our technicians are very well trained and have completed hundred of jobs before exposing in the field. We have equipment inventory to handle any small or big jobs.
